Pre-launch privacy notice

What the VIRA waitlist collects and why.

This notice describes the limited information collected through the current VIRA pre-launch website. It does not describe the future application’s complete privacy practices, which will be published before launch.

Information collected

The waitlist asks for an email address and lets you indicate whether you may host a circle, join a circle, or are still exploring. The site may also collect routine technical and analytics information, such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from network information, and interaction timing.

The waitlist does not ask for bank account numbers, card details, government identification, payment-account credentials, contribution amounts, or information about members of a real savings circle. Please do not submit sensitive financial or identity information through the waitlist.

How waitlist information is used

VIRA uses waitlist information to maintain the pre-launch interest list, understand whether prospective users are more likely to host or join circles, send launch or product updates, evaluate possible early-access invitations, protect the website from misuse, and improve the clarity and performance of the experience.

Service providers and retention

Website hosting, database, analytics, and email-delivery providers may process limited information on VIRA’s behalf to operate the site and communicate with waitlist members. VIRA intends to retain waitlist information only as long as reasonably needed for the pre-launch purposes described here, legal obligations, security, and legitimate recordkeeping.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from launch messages using the instructions included in a VIRA email. Privacy-request contact details will be added to the Contact page when the relevant channel is operational. This notice may be updated as the product, providers, and legal requirements develop; the review date above identifies the current version.

Future application data

The planned VIRA application may require additional notices covering identity verification, connected payment accounts, circle membership, communications, and transaction-status information. Those disclosures, terms, eligibility rules, and controls will be provided before those features are made available.
